It is a global movement that calls for equality and justice in the Muslim family; their focus is mainly directed towards family law in Muslim countries. On their website, one can find some Muslim countries family laws that contain provisions that are explicitly discriminatory and unjust, which provides evidence that reform of the laws is necessary. It provides also list of organizations, coalitions and networks that are involved in working for equality and justice in Muslim families or have resources that can be useful in research and advocacy around family law issues. Additionally, it publishes a lot of background papers, most of them are in English but some of them are in Arabic language as well.
